Recommendations

The Recommendation Module allows users to create, review, and share SKU recommendations in a seamless process. This documentation will walk you through the steps involved in creating and managing your product recommendations, from selecting products to sharing them with others.

Step 1: Select Products for Your Recommendation

In Step 1, you will begin by selecting SKU's you wish to include in your recommendation.
Selecting New Products: Browse through the available SKU's and select the ones you want to include in recommendation.
Returning Users: If you are returning from a prior recommendation, all previously selected SKU's will be displayed. You can choose to proceed by clicking Next or make changes to the selected SKU's by adding or deleting items.

Steps To Do:

Click on the SKU's you wish to add to your recommendation.
To remove a SKU, simply deselect it.

Step 2: Review Your Product(s)

In Step 2, you will have the opportunity to review the SKU's you have selected.
Add More SKU's: If you wish to add additional SKU's, simply click the Step 1 button to return to the SKU selection screen and make changes.
Remove SKU's: To remove SKU's, click the trash can icon next to the item you want to delete.
Cart URL: A unique, secure link to your cart will be displayed. This link will allow anyone who receives your recommendation to view and purchase the SKU's in your cart. Below is an example of the Cart URL:

Proceed to Next Step: Once you are satisfied with your SKU selection, click Next to proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Enter Your Recommendation Details

In Step 3, you will enter the final details for your SKU recommendation.
Subject: The subject field will default to "Recommendation for you."
You may modify the subject to suit your preference by typing your own text.
Message:
A default message will be supplied, stating, "Below is a link to your item(s)."
You can easily customize this message by editing the text in the field.
Recommendation Description (Optional):

This optional field allows you to enter a description for your recommendation. The description is helpful if you plan to make similar recommendations in the future, as it will aid in organizing and managing your Recommendation History. Example Description: "Recommended skincare SKU's based on recent queries."
Recommendation Name or Label (Optional):
You can give your recommendation a specific name or label to help you identify it in the future. This field is optional but can be particularly useful if you are creating multiple recommendations over time.

Select Sharing Method

After reviewing your recommendation, you are ready to share it with others.
Review Details: Ensure that all details in the subject, message, and description fields are correct.

Choose Sharing Method:

Choose how you would like to share your recommendation by selecting one of the icons listed for social media or direct sharing.
Sharing Methods: Options for sharing include social media platforms and direct links.
The Clipboard Option: If you select a sharing method that copies the information to your clipboard (such as email or direct link), the details will be copied, and you can easily paste the recommendation into your chosen platform.

Important Note:

Always review the notes or question mark icons top to the sharing methods for any additional instructions or requirements specific to that method.

Final Notes

The Recommendation Module is designed to streamline the process of recommending SKU's to others.
The Cart URL is a key feature that ensures your recommendation link is easily shareable with others.
The ability to customize the subject, message, and description of your recommendation gives you flexibility to tailor each recommendation to the recipient's needs.
By following these steps, you can create and share personalized product recommendations efficiently, while also keeping track of your recommendations for future reference.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during the process, consider the following tips:
Ensure your internet connection is stable while selecting products.
Double-check that all SKU's you want to include are selected before proceeding to Step 2.
If you’re unable to modify the subject or message, make sure your browser settings allow for text input in the fields.
