Item Name
Description:
The full name or title of the product or inventory item. This is how the item will be displayed across listings and internal systems.
Category Text
Description:
The primary category or classification under which this item falls (e.g., Electronics, Apparel, Furniture). Used for sorting, filtering, and navigation.
Brand Name
Description:
The name of the manufacturer or brand associated with this item. Helps in organizing products and increasing search visibility.
Model Name
Description:
The specific model identifier given by the brand for this item. Useful for distinguishing between variations of the same product line.
SKU
Description:
Stock Keeping Unit – a unique alphanumeric code used internally to track the item in the inventory system. It must be unique for each distinct item.
Vendor SKU
Description:
The SKU assigned by the vendor or supplier. This may differ from your internal SKU but is used for order placement and vendor communications.
SKU Method
Description:
Defines the strategy or format used for generating the SKU. This could include prefixes for categories, vendors, or auto-generated formats.
Widget Name
Description:
The frontend name or label for widgets where this product is featured (e.g., “Best Sellers,” “New Arrivals”). Helps associate the product with promotional areas on the site.
Resale (Yes or No)
Description:
Indicates whether this item is eligible for resale.
- Yes
: Can be sold to customers.
- No
: Internal-use item or not available for retail sale.
Callout Image
Description:
A promotional or secondary image used to highlight the product (e.g., “On Sale” badge or lifestyle image). Enhances visual appeal in listings or banners.
Status (Active or Not Active)
Description:
Controls the availability of the item in the system.
- Active
: The item is live and available.
- Not Active
: The item is hidden from listings and disabled from transactions.
Quantity
Description:
The number of units available in stock. This field is used to track inventory and may be updated manually or automatically.
Display Priority
Description:
A numeric value that determines the order in which this item appears in listings.
Lower numbers indicate higher priority (e.g., 1
shows first).
Input Text
Description:
A general-purpose text field for additional notes, internal comments, or custom values not captured by other fields.
Related Action
Description:
Specifies special behavior associated with the item.
Example:

Extra Info
Description:

Featured Product (Tick or No)
Description:
A flag to determine whether the item should be promoted as a featured product.
- Ticked: Item appears in special sections like the homepage or featured widgets.
- Not ticked: Standard listing behavior.
Taxability
Use the drop-down menu to specify whether the item is Taxable or Non-Taxable.
- Taxable – Select this option if the item is subject to sales tax where applicable.
- Non-Taxable – Select this option if the item is exempt from sales tax under all conditions (e.g., charitable donations, certain services).
