Shipping

VendorHub uses shipping fields in the inventory CSV to control shipping methods, shipping types, and shipping costs for each product.

Shipping settings include:

• Ground Shipping
• Two Day Shipping
• Next Day Shipping
• Shipping Type
• Fixed Shipping Cost

Shipping Speeds

You can enable one or more shipping speeds for a product.

At least one shipping method should be enabled for a product.

Note: If a shipping field is left blank for a child SKU, the child SKU can inherit the shipping setting from its parent product.

Shipping Types

Each shipping speed can use a different shipping type.

Calculated

Calculated shipping determines the shipping cost based on the product's weight and shipping zone.

For calculated shipping:

• Set the shipping type to CALCULATED.
• Enter the product weight in the WEIGHT LB field.
• The system uses the weight and configured shipping rates to calculate the shipping cost.

Fixed

Fixed shipping uses a set dollar amount for shipping.

For example, if the fixed shipping cost is $5.00, the system uses the configured fixed-cost setting to determine the shipping charge.

Set the shipping type to FIXED and enter the corresponding shipping cost.

Free

Free shipping does not charge the customer for shipping.

Set the shipping type to FREE.

Shipping Fields in the CSV

The inventory CSV contains the following shipping fields:

TWO DAY SHIPPING FIXED COST	Fixed cost for Two Day Shipping
NEXT DAY SHIPPING FIXED COST	Fixed cost for Next Day Shipping
WEIGHT LB	Product weight used for calculated shipping

How to Configure Shipping in an Inventory File

1. Go to Inventory → Import Products.
2. Click Downloads.
3. Download the appropriate inventory template.
4. Open the CSV file in Excel or Google Sheets.
5. Find the shipping columns.
6. Select the shipping speeds you want to offer.
7. Enter the appropriate shipping type.
8. If using FIXED, enter the shipping cost.
9. If using CALCULATED, enter the product weight.
10. Save the CSV file.
11. Return to Import Products.
12. Select the vendor.
13. Click Choose CSV File.
14. Select the completed CSV file and upload it.

A product that offers Ground Shipping with a fixed $5.00 shipping cost would use:
